Record Condition VG+

  • SS = Still Sealed - in factory fresh condition
  • M = Mint condition (unsealed)
  • M- = Mint Minus - a near perfect record
  • VG+ = Very Good Plus - close to new with superficial signs of use that don't affect play
  • VG = Very Good - a used reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
  • VG- = Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise
  • G+ = Good Plus - any worse condition than this is unplayable

Jacket Condition DJT
  • CO = Drill hole in jacket (or saw mark/cut corner)
  • CW = Cover Wear
  • DJT = DJ timing strip (3 1/2" by 1" sticker on cover detailing title and BPM)
  • LBL = Label
  • PC = Picture Cover
  • SS = Split Seams TS = Taped Seams... refers to cover damage
  • PS = Promo Stamp - usually gold embossed notice on jacket indicating that the item was intended for promotional use
  • SL = Slight
  • SM = Small
  • OC = On Cover OBC = On Back Cover
  • WLP = White Label Promo
  • W = Writing S = Stamp (DJ Ink Stamp)
